You have chosen the Rider Waite Tarot for your reading.

The past-present-future is a good spread to use for simple questions. The Rider Waite was created by Pamela Coleman and A. E. Waite. It is the most popular tarot deck in the world. learn more about or purchase the Rider Waite Tarot

Here is your reading, Nathan Jones.

Your question: how is the work front?

Click on the card to turn it over.

amazing tofu scramble

1 brick of tofu (firmness doesn't really matter

3 potatoes

1 onion

garlic to taste

tomatoes

oil, pepper, salt, hot sauce (i love aardvark's)

Directions:

Shred and fry potatoes like hashbrowns, then add the onions and garlic and fry that up too. When then onions look like they've been cooked, clear out an empty space in the center of the pan and add a little more oil and then tofu on top of that. Smush up the tofu as you put it in the pan. There are two approaches now.

1. let it slow cook on like medium or something stirring every 5 min or so

2. Turn it on high and stir every 15 seconds or so, you just want to keep it from burning.

Once it looks like the tofu is getting cooked (should start to brown a little and the dish begins to dry out and burn easily. Then you add like 2 or 3 tomatoes chopped up. Then you cook it down so the moisture leaves, this is when I like to add the aardvarks and if you haven't add salt and pepper, now's a good time. I can normally eat all of this by myself, but I would think it would be safe to say it serves two, maybe 3, but it's so good you'll want it all to yourself!

I think one day I'll have a blog, just about tofu scramble, seriously!

Dabrowski!

This is some of the best psychology I've ever read, I'm totally hooked.

Positive Disintegration

Seriously, neuroses as a disease!?! There's a reason the blog is called Go Mental!

2010 Great Divide Race Networking

So... I'm trying to get in touch with ANYBODY planning to do the GDR, NOT THE TOUR DIVIDE!

I put this post on the mtbr.com forum and now I'm talking about it here so the two are linked.

I have met and spoke with last years two sole finishers, (I'm hoping this cred is what allows me to be able to finish the race this year) I managed to meet Cullen Barker down at Poison Spider in Moab back in August and then Tommy Tuite is sort of associated with my cross racing team, Veloshop! Meeting these two individuals basically showed me that I was heading in the right direction (so I believe).

Seriously, I believe in miracles, synchronicities, and the sort of amazing holy shit things that can happen in a persons life. Where will the GDR take me?

Hood Climbers

Day four on Mount Hood: Air and ground search suspended as whiteout conditions swamp mountain

These guys have officially ended my dreams of ever scaling Mt. Hood. I wouldn't want to wish this upon anyone or their families. I really hope they find them.

ubuntu rant

Years ago, I guess it was 05, my pal turned me onto Neal Stephenson. He wrote a bunch of books which are apparently awesome, I've never read any unfortunately. What I have read though is his fabulous piece titled In the Beginning was the Command Line. Seriously, if you consider yourself a fanboy of win, mac, beos, or linux and I'm guessing that's pretty much anybody who made it to this blog, READ THE DANG ARTICLE!!!

His article convinced me to begin learning linux and ditch my XP.

Now 4 years later I'm mostly an ubuntu convert, I still use my old XP setup for some music stuff, mainly because I like ableton live. But other than that, ubuntu does everything and then some. I always hated microsoft, never could afford a mac, but ubuntu/linux makes me love computing, how crazy is that!!!?

So really, I haven't paid any attention to windows since xp and still don't have the money for a mac/don't want one. Microsoft will keep coming out with crap OS's and Mac's will keep charging a billion dollars for shiny turds. GO LEARN LINUX, IT WILL MAKE LIFE BETTER FOR EVERYONE!!!

Great Divide Race June 18th 2010

I'm going to be racing this little race called the Great Divide Race in about 8 months.

http://greatdividerace.com/

It's going to be grueling, crazy, cold, wet, hot, dry, windy, epic, and possibly fun!

It will be no small feat for me to finish, I at least want to make it through Montana as I haven't seen much of the state.

Seriously though, I really want to finish this thing, I'm not going to set records, just prove to myself that I can do it. I'm expecting the worst weather imaginable, even in comparison to previous years in the race. Call it intuition, call it nerves, but I think I'm going to be fighting tooth and nail just to make it in the 25 day cutoff.

I plan to race wearing my Veloshop kit, also planning to get my ride built up through them and hopefully a nice wheelset built up. Details, details, details!
